Education

At Sri Model Foundation, we believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment and long-term social transformation. Our efforts in the field of education are driven by a commitment to ensure that every child, regardless of socio-economic background, has equal access to learning opportunities, supportive environments, and the encouragement needed to succeed.

Our team works tirelessly across intervention areas to provide vital information and guidance to parents and guardians about the availability of nearby schools, government-run social welfare hostels, scholarship opportunities, and educational benefits offered by both state and central governments. We understand that many parents, particularly in marginalized communities, lack access to this information — and we bridge that gap through awareness campaigns, community meetings, and one-on-one engagement.

Each year, during the critical admission period in June and July, the Foundation conducts special enrollment drives to identify and enroll eligible children into mainstream schools and hostels, ensuring that no child is left behind. These drives are carried out in collaboration with school teachers, elected representatives, and local leaders who help us mobilize support and create awareness within their communities.

We also strongly advocate for parental involvement in their children’s education. Through regular interactions, workshops, and school visits, we encourage parents to actively participate in their children's academic journey. Our trained volunteers visit schools and hostels every month to monitor student well-being, identify challenges, and suggest improvements to enhance the learning experience.

By focusing on school retention, quality of education, and holistic development, Sri Model Foundation is helping to shape a brighter future for hundreds of children. We are committed to nurturing a generation that is not only literate but also confident, capable, and ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

Health and Well-being

At Sri Model Foundation, improving the health and well-being of underserved communities is one of our top priorities. Our health interventions focus especially on women, children, and adolescent girls, who are often the most vulnerable and underserved groups in rural and tribal regions.

Recognizing the pressing need for accessible healthcare in remote areas, we have launched comprehensive health programs in districts such as Nagarkurnool in Telangana. These initiatives aim to bridge the gap in medical access by organizing free health camps in collaboration with private medical practitioners and government health departments.

During these camps, a wide range of basic health check-ups are provided, and free medicines are distributed to patients in need. Our medical volunteers and healthcare professionals screen women, elders, and adolescent girls for common health issues and offer guidance on preventive care. Patients requiring specialized medical attention are referred to District Headquarters Hospitals to ensure continued care.

One of our key focuses is addressing Vitamin A deficiency among children, a condition that can lead to severe vision problems if left untreated. Despite the availability of free Vitamin A supplements from government health schemes, awareness and usage remain low in rural regions. To combat this, Sri Model Foundation conducts health awareness drives and educational sessions to encourage behavior change, promote healthy practices, and ensure that children receive proper nutritional care.

Our health programs go beyond immediate treatment—they aim to build long-term health awareness, disease prevention, and community resilience. By bringing healthcare services directly to the people and educating them on basic health rights and resources, we are making strides toward a healthier, more informed society.

Skill development

At Sri Model Foundation, we believe that empowering youth with practical and market-relevant skills is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating sustainable livelihoods. Our Skill Development Program is focused on enhancing the employability of young people, especially those from marginalized communities in both urban and rural areas.

To bridge the gap between education and employment, the foundation has established vocational training centers equipped with proper infrastructure, training resources, and experienced instructors. These centers offer residential facilities including boarding and lodging, ensuring that even youth from remote areas can participate in the programs without facing logistical challenges.

We offer skill development training in high-demand trades, particularly in Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) such as computer operations, basic IT skills, and office management. These programs have been successfully implemented in districts like Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Kurnool, West Godavari, Krishna, and Guntur across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Through these initiatives, hundreds of young individuals have been trained and supported in securing meaningful employment opportunities in local industries, service sectors, and small businesses. Our programs are designed not only to build technical skills but also to boost self-confidence, communication abilities, and job readiness, enabling youth to navigate and thrive in today’s competitive job market.

Sri Model Foundation’s Skill Development Program is more than just training—it is a transformative journey that helps young people discover their potential, gain economic independence, and contribute actively to their communities.

Agriculture

Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy, providing livelihoods to a significant portion of the population, especially in rural areas. Despite its central role, the sector—particularly the plight of small and marginal farmers—has long been overlooked. These farmers, who form the majority of the agricultural workforce, often struggle with limited access to technical knowledge, financial resources, modern equipment, and direct market linkages. As a result, their productivity remains low, and they remain vulnerable to market fluctuations, exploitation by middlemen, and unsustainable farming practices.

At Sri Model Foundation, we are committed to transforming this scenario by empowering small and marginal farmers through sustainable and inclusive agricultural development. We recognize that for agriculture to be truly productive and profitable, it must also be ecologically sustainable and farmer-centric.

Our Focus Areas in Agriculture:

  • Promoting Organic Farming: We encourage farmers to adopt organic and eco-friendly practices that protect soil health, improve crop yield quality, and reduce dependency on chemical inputs. This shift not only enhances consumer health but also opens new avenues for farmers in premium organic markets.

  • Training and Capacity Building: Through on-field demonstrations, workshops, and farmer-to-farmer learning programs, we equip farmers with knowledge about natural farming methods, crop rotation, composting, and the use of bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides.

  • Market Linkages and Product Enhancement: We support farmers in value addition, branding, and connecting to direct markets to ensure fair prices for their produce, thereby reducing their dependence on exploitative intermediaries.

  • Financial Literacy and Support: We assist farmers in accessing government schemes, microfinance, and subsidies, and train them in financial planning and budgeting to improve their agricultural ventures' viability and sustainability.

  • Awareness Campaigns: To challenge the dominance of harmful market forces such as seed and pesticide dealers, we run awareness drives that help farmers make informed decisions and reclaim control over their production systems.

Our ultimate goal is to revitalize rural agriculture by placing small and marginal farmers at the center of development—empowering them to become self-reliant, sustainable, and economically secure, while also ensuring healthy food for consumers.

Women Empowerment

At the heart of our mission lies the belief that empowering women is key to building stronger, more resilient communities. Our Women Empowerment initiatives focus on equipping women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to achieve economic independence and personal growth.

We offer skill-based training programs that are tailored to the local context and market demands. These include vocational courses such as tailoring, handicrafts, computer literacy, beauty and wellness, and more. Through hands-on training and expert guidance, women gain practical abilities that open doors to employment or self-employment opportunities.

In addition to skill development, we place a strong emphasis on financial literacy. We educate women on savings, budgeting, and small-scale entrepreneurship, enabling them to manage their finances wisely and make informed economic decisions. This not only enhances their financial stability but also helps them uplift their families and communities.

By creating a supportive environment and offering continuous mentorship, we strive to nurture leadership, self-confidence, and social awareness among women. Our goal is to break the cycle of dependency and enable women to become self-sufficient, empowered contributors to society.
